Hinge for 90's cabinet

Here is a phono of the cabinets under my kitchen sink and one of the doors split off. Assuming I can find a similar door at Home Depot or online somewhere, these have this type of hinge hole on the door. A little metal plate with a screw hole goes into that slot and the hinge screws into that. Is this something common I can ask for Home Depot to cut into a new door? Should I just try to put new hinges?

You could just get two new face frame exposed hinges from home depot, the fact that they may attach differently when open won’t be a big deal on older cabinets IMO if they look the same when closed. If you can’t find them in a matching dark bronze color you can paint them with rustoleum. Barker Cabinets has a lot of different replacement door styles if you can’t find one locally.

This looks like a “demountable” hinge slot to me ; if you have a photo of the hinge itself you can try a reverse image lookup on google

Yes definitely a demountable hinge slot. I'll see what I can do to make something work. Thanks for the replies.
