do you need to keep the bow out of the windows for interior design?

doesn't look like a lot of setback, do you have room for a porch?

It appears the front stairs are too steep to enter the home safely.

You could improve the appearance with paint.

The home is a more vintage design, but the windows are very contemporary. I think you must pick a lane. Either keep the windows and select colors to reinforce the contemporary style or replace the windows with a design more in keeping with the Cape Cod style of the home.

Regarding the steps, yes hope to build shallower steps.

Was wondering about something lighter, like a white render with some darker stone or clad features - mainly because of the area that it's in, and trying to make it 'fit in' in some ways

I will be doing a double width single dormer. The bay window design will be staying - but windows themselves replaced.

Regarding building a porch, this is an option but I think out of my budget.

Agree with enlarging the entry so it feels more graceful & welcoming, lush landscaping will go really far as well - great house!

You have pavers, stucco and a barrel tile roof as finishes thus far. There is a lot going on at present. I don't think you want to add stone veneer as another finish.

Why not post images of the neighborhood you're referring to. I think this might be somewhere in the UK not in the US.

Another idea: (for when you replace the steps), there isn't any protection from the rain, so an awning might be important. Found this one on etsy.com and it looks like its roof is a similar design to yours.

The vendor makes different styles, colors, embellishments,etc and gets great reviews.

Not sure but either would work I just think it was an awesome way to upscale a very not modern house . Probably not cheap but so different . The deck probably would need to go out the back but if you have enough space at the front at least the modern facde and entry could work for sure. You could use the burned japanese wood for it that would be cool
