Abbyjean, are you out there? You always have the best advice! Our ceilings are only 8feet...no crown moulding. Going to hang a rod for grommet sheers behind the guest bed (in middle of only window)...with colorful drapery panel on each side. Sheers will stay closed all the time (room darkening shade behind them for nighttime). Soooo....how high should that rod be to give the illusion of height? The sheers are 95" long but can be hemmed. Help quick Houzzers! Need to put up that pole and get the sheers hemmed soon....guests coming in early Oct! Thanks
