I hope everyone had a good Easter. I made dinner here and my younger daughter and her family came over. I miss having food that I cook myself so I did lots of cooking. We all enjoyed it. Yes, it's nice not to have to cook every meal but sometimes there is something you want that is never on the menu. For example I haven't seen them offer spaghetti or lasagna since I've been here. I didn't cook that for Easter though - had chicken and ham. I love to use leftovers from those to make so many other things so I'll enjoy the next few days. I made Jello Jiggler Eggs. Do all of you remember Jello Jigglers? Hadn't made those for years. I'm sure the granddaughters never saw them before.

Today we had an Easter Egg Hunt. I was so tired I wasn't sure I wanted to hunt for them, but went and had a good time. Right now the auction for things left at my house is about to finish up so I'll be heading there to do more work again tomorrow. I took Sunday and today off from those tasks. I sure know not to ever move again!

Hello, sorry Ive been very busy getting ready for craft fair season. Got 2 coming up the first weekend of may. Trying to get lots of stuff sewed and finished. I might not do mays swap.

Annie -Im so sorry I havent posted. Yes thank you it came last saturday. Love it.

My granddaughter came over yesterday and says I wanna make a fuggler. Huh whats that. So I went searching. Couldnt find any templates or patterns, Watched a video where someone made themselves one. She gave dimensions. So I free handed it using the dimensions. Ended up going down a rabbit hole and free handed a bunch of them with my own designs. Cut them this morning and transferred the designs to a cutting board and cut those out. (easier for kids to trace) Gonna have some friends come over this weekend and we will all be making fugglers with felt. Seems easy enough. So templates have been cut, supplies are set out. Need some of those crystal glass rocks for planters. Hope dollar tree has some. Will be using polymer clay to make some eyes and teeth.

Yes, Happy Saturday to Nicole and everyone else.

My niece has been visiting for the past eight days, so I haven't checked in as much. She left today and we miss her already.

I'll try to catch up now.

One day we went to Mineola for lunch and shopping. Made a stop at Bob Wells Nursery and I got a new fig tree. I love this nursery and will be going back, although they seem a little pricier than most. They had a great selection and I choose Violet de Bordeaux.

Jeanne, I know what the Jello Jiggler Eggs are, but I've never made them. I bet the kids enjoyed them. I miss having Easter Egg hunts for the little ones. And I do love having leftovers. I almost always cook bigger meals and freeze the leftovers. That makes it easier when I don't want to cook.

Amy, I'm in no hurry for the seeds. I just appreciate you sharing them. I've never heard of them and I'm excited to try them. Usually, every other year I give up on trying to grow tomatoes in Texas, but cherry tomatoes do better than the regular types.

Cinnie, another person here that has never heard of Fugglers. Good Luck with your craft shows.

I would love to see pictures of your finished goodies.

Promise, my new asparagus bed is coming along nicely. I planted twenty crowns of Purple Passion. I now have about fifteen stalks peeking thru.
