Grids on very small slider or not?

Have a small colonial style / cottage stone house. The whole house except second attic story is grid windows. I have an opening in the rear of the house that is 16" x 47" wide and will be putting in a slider. For a size that small, I'm torn whether to add grids to the window to match the rest that is in the kitchen or keep it clear to have less obstruction.

Most popular opionion is what I'll do. Thank you!

Grids. Match the rest!

No Grids. Keep open!

The picture below is roughly the size going in the opening, except horizontally and it will be a slider. The smallest square / grid is about 7"x12".

This is the rough opening (with the plywood) looking from the adjacent room. The large window I took the photo from must have had the glass replaced at some point. It's the only glass without grids, though it's surround by vertical grid windows on each side (above).

A large party deck is being built directly adjacent to it. Since the opening is in a kitchen, I thought it would be nice to have an opening for food / drinks being served from kitchen instead of having to walk all the way around.

My initial plan was to put an awning window, but they don't make any in this size.
