Seating for 10? What are the room’s dimensions? Start with layout of room, then build furniture floor plan. Then think of mood, color, etc.

We need measurements for the room as well as how many door openings in order to suggest seating arrangement for 10. Do you want to sit 10 on a daily basis or just for special occasions in which you could pull up chairs from elsewhere in your home. That is a lot of people to seat.

For color, your fireplace and floor are what kills the moody vibe. Are you willing to redo the fireplace strip going up to the wall? What kind of tile is it? For the floors, it is easy enough to get one or two rugs for the space and base your wall colors around it.

I like to color drench in a moody space and get rid of contrasting trim. However, this room is visually connected and open to at least two other rooms so you have to negotiate how to do that. I'd paint the ceiling one color.

Seating for 10 could be doable with the right furniture. You might look into a 3-seater sofa, some swivel chairs, a chaise lounge, and some ottomans. The images below are just a few ideas for you for furniture, artwork, etc.

You've got the cart before the horse. You need to show all four sides of the room to figure out layout before decor, i.e. style and colors. We need to see all doorways and adjacent spaces.

Nowhere in your inspiration photos is there a single honking TV screen looming over everything. So decide where you want to relocate that screen before you figure out the rest of the layout. Otherwise you might as well just set up the space as a media room with movie theater chairs.

I would start by explaining the need for 10 seats then get that TV off the FP. Moody easily done as you can see by all the pics posted of that type of space but spaces do not live in a vacuum so the spaces around this would be a huge help to see. Is this the only place for a TV ? IMO the idea you show does not include TV . I need answers and without more info I see no way to help
