Remodeling Design Dilemma Flooring

How would you lay plank in this floor plan?

We want to lay LVP in both the living areas and the bedrooms. Our current plan is to run it the long way on each of the 2 sides and put a transition in the middle. The issue we’re having is where exactly to put the transition since we have different length walls in this hallway/bar/entry area. We would also love to put LVP on the stairs but I’m guessing it will be tricky if we end up coming at it at an angle.

The walls would need to be drawn on the plan, to scale, to show where those conflicts at the angle where the two halves of house meet. The pics aren't adequate, though the doggo was still waiting for a rub.

And, I personally don’t like the length of boards (vinyl strips - whatever) to run the length of a hallway if the hallway is long and narrow. Running them the short way helps break the bowling alley look. But yes please show the walls on the plan for best advice.
