Need Advise for Living Room Layout

Husband & I recently moved into this 1960's 3BD, 2 floor townhouse on concrete slab to be closer to family & grandkids.
Need to buy TV but need layout first. I am not sure about where to put TV. I'm thinking of 55' Samsung frame over buffet on 6'10" wall. Left Samsung frame at previous sold house. This buffet does not fit in the current DR. Large brown cabinet is being given away.
Not planning to paint, install new window trim and baseboards or buy any new living room furniture (except TV and any needed TV furniture) till after we remodel the kitchen and unify flooring. Probably in fall of 2026. Currently focused on remodeling bathrooms.
Please advise for best furniture layout prior to buying TV.
