I'm not sure how to decorate this part of the house; I'd love to hear some suggestions. I'm leaning heavily towards modern décor.

How do the two pictures relate to one another? It’s confusing. Is the empty corner in picture #2, the same corner in picture #1 with the black/blue and white art piece hanging on one side?

That’s a fairly large space. Are you looking to decorate it (puzzle table/chairs, foyer table/bench, etc.) or do you need the area to function as something more (closet, mudroom, pantry, powder room, bar or beverage center)? You need to work around the vent/thermostat/switches or perhaps relocate them, if possible.

Yes ,and The area facing the TV is meant to be the family room, according to the original layout; I simply removed the partition walls, and the dining area was located It was in the exact same place I have it now.The living room It is located opposite the island.This is what I'm thinking of putting in that space in front of the island.That is the floor plan of the house ,quite accurate ,that I obtained from the robot.I hope this helps.

We have a fully equipped enclosed kitchen on the porch and spend most of our time there, so we hardly ever use the inside of the house. That’s why I’m not interested in creating another functional area; instead, I’d prefer to integrate that space into the home's overall décor, but I’m not sure how to go about it.

Before i bought anything I’d try mocking up the sectional size with some dining chairs in the spot where you want your sectional to see how it works - it might have to be pretty close to the tv to leave a walkway to the slider. i might be tempted to float 4 swivel armchairs in front of the tv instead to give more flexibility (an area rug would be nice to ”ground” them) -

for the empty corner, if you don’t need anything functional, you could float a larger round display table there

Yes, for the area in front of the TV, I need something that doesn't take up much space—thanks for the suggestion. Could you please check the floor plan the robot created? The room orientation matches exactly how the house is built: the L-shaped wall marks the house's entrance, and the spot where I have the TV used to be the family room—we just removed all the dividing walls. The dining table was also originally in that area when we bought the house.And where you're suggesting a table, they had another one too—it's just that I wouldn't want to have two tables
