We use this type of chair (not the lounge, no room) and love them, no need to remove cushions when it rains and they are comfortable and look good, not expensive, we buy from Home Depot, or Lowes.

I have those type of chairs, and it isn't necessary to sit in them. They're all the same--not super comfy but definitely practical by a pool because they dry quickly.
