I love white woodwork, too. I vote to paint it all white. I know many don't like the idea of painting great wood, but I'm all for it.

If you had dark woodwork, ie dark like the floor, I might agree, because dark wood can make a room look smaller. But the wood in the second picture makes me think otherwise (and I have white painted molding throughout my own home!). I see you have a white seat/nook area next to the white door. That looks nice. But I really like the light wood in the second picture.

I guess a lot depends on the style of your home and furnishings.

I just painted all my original woodwork in my 1948-built home. I like you had hesitations, but absolutely love it and it achieved exactly what I needed it to. I would highly encourage you to go for it, I love it!

I like the light natural woodwork, but it looks like some of it has already been painted. I would like it better if it all matched. That said, your home seems to have a bit of a mid-mod vibe and I always like to see that emphasized. You might be able to make that natural wood trim work in spectacular fashion.
