IMHO they are on sale because they aren't sold as much as they used to be. What color is the door hinges?

The whole line is on sale, every finish. Not just the bronze. I can pick the door hinges, so I'm assuming they can come in the finish of the doorknob.

I would think they would be durable or they wouldn't be making them if they had lots of problems.

Interesting! I see them in about 50% of the high end remodels in my area. Thanks for that info. I do like the look, but I want to be sure the finish will be durable.

Oil rubbed bronze comes in a living finish which will polish to a shinier, brighter finish where it is touched daily and is the finish I personally prefer. It also comes in a clear coated finish which should not change at all over time unless the finish goes bad which should be covered in the warranty if you have a good quality, name brand knob.
