I think hulking leather furniture is one of the most typical Houzz dilemmas. In addition, you have the same problem with the entertainment center - so two elephants - one black and one brown. Part of the problem is the extreme contrast with the light floor, walls, pillows and drapes. You must take the eye away from the contrast, making the sectional look very deliberate and not like a "buyer's remorse" mistake. Paint, a large rug, and dark pillows can do that for you. Here is the idea, although maybe not in the colors you would choose. See how the sectional takes a back seat to all the beautiful color - very low contrast as well. Since your room is open to the others, select a color strip card that provides a shade for this room and also a couple you can take to the dining room and to the kitchen so the entire space continues to tie together, but takes the focus off the sectional and the E-center. The rooms don't have to match but flow, and the same color strip gives you that option. Use darker shade where you have great natural light, medium shade in average lighted room and the lightest shade for the darkest space. You can even take the very lightest shade on the card to the ceiling (perhaps cut by 50% white.) I think you can have a stunning 3-room space! See the adjoining room in the pic.
