Pendent lights over our kitchen island

How many pendent lights should I have over our kitchen island/table? The island measures 9' long x 3'3" wide. I can't figure out if I should have two or 3 pendent lights over the island. The cabinets aren't installed yet so I've attached a couple drawings of the space. Any ideas or opinions would be great! Thanks!
