Paint it white :)

Nacre from SW is a creamy classic! I use it in traditional and contemporary spaces.

My house currently has cream colored trims and they look softer overall compared with stark white.

I prefer ivory, but that may be because I live in an older (1920's) house. I agree with Dytecture that it just looks softer over all.

I'll take a pic today, thank you to everyone! I do like the cream and will look at the SW color. The only thing with the cream is the wall colors don't seem to go with the cream as well...maybe it's just my lack of confidence in choosing wall colors!

I think color of trim is really decided by style and colors you like. White trim can be very fresh and contempory . If you send some pics we might be able to get a feel for the space. In my house because the trim is really nothing special I just did it the same color as my walls.
