I love it! Sort of a Parisian feel to me. Very fancy! ;) Great job!
Thanks! Most of the photos are of Paris!!!
    hey, that's cool!
the lamp on the commode seems a little high, but i still like it.
I like it all very much except the lamp. If the lamp were removed and that picture lowered, it would be awesome.

Visually fun...functionally?? as a guest I would feel uneasy about using this room. I would be afraid of getting your photo's wet or knocking them over. Have you tried sitting on the loo to see if your head hits the lamp? Not trying to be a debby downer, just keeping it real;)

Consider this over the toilet, he has a parisian flare;)

Sorry, but ,I find too much going on, in it, beautiful things, but too many of them, I would remove the lamp entirely, put the tissue box on the commode instead, definitely get rid of pictures on the vanity, remove the frame above the towel holder, place it below the one above the commode, then it will not overpower the space. the rest is fine. enjoy

I love it! Great job. I agree with the earlier comments about the lamp, though I can see it adds a definite element of Parisian glamour. How bout adding a shelf at the height of the towel rod and putting the lamp on the shelf with a nice floral cloth across the top of the toilet.

Margo, you are joking ? right ? a Parisian moose head ?
Have you no vision pivoines? ;)))

I love it but I too agree about the lamp. I like the idea of an over the top lamp. But maybe a smaller version on as someone already stated a shelf. You got it going and I like!

Can you add a second print below the one over the john. The lamp there is just not appropriate in my humble opinion. Sometimes a small lamp on the vanity is charming , but this one is not right to me.

I love the drama of the black and white. Agree with other commenters about the lamp. would you consider moving it to where the photo frames are on the vanity, moving the tissue box onto the WC top and maybe adding one more white framed photo below your NY Brooklyn Bridge? I think we are all trying to work to make the impact dramatic without any busy-ness from anything but the framed photographs.

I have a suggestion/solution for your lamp. I like the idea of a lamp in a bathroom, however the space constraints of your powder room make it difficult to place it in a functional area. Sconces work nicely. I'm thinking sort of mash the two together. Go with a custom made wall mounted fixture that utilizes the same shade you have on your lamp now. This will free up the top of the toilet for your tissue box, and still give you the visual quality and sense of the lamp lighting. Shoot me an email and i can explain this further in depth and offer drawings or CAD examples. I attended Tyler School of Art for metal/jewelry/CAD-CAM design.

I think you did a great job! I think the lamp is cute, but a little too tall.
I'd call this "glam" style rather than "elegant" style but it is undeniably fun!
Nice job. But how about a touch of red? Also lamp must go.

Love it except the lamp, try a chandelier from the ceiling instead.
I like the concept of the lamp but if you can swing a chandelier that would be even better!
Great, very nice. Not liking lamp on toilet, or picture frames on vanity looks too cluttered. Remove lamp add another picture instead. Good job a fun look.

Love the black walls. Bold choice it paid off.
Maybe you could mount the light on the wall and get it off the commode--I love the shade! Good work !

Get rid of the lamp. I mean, if it's nighttime and you needed to use the bathroom, won't you flip the switch that's likely to be just inside the door? You won't turn that one on to walk over and turn on the lamp. Nope. Get rid of the lamp and don't put it on the sink area; um hello electrocution! I also think the pictures on the sink are strange. Someone washing their hands is going to get them wet or knock them over. I think it's a bit too much, really. The idea is great and I think if you take all the suggestions to heart, it will work. And hey, if you try them and don't like it, it's your home and what you like is what really matters!!!

The pictures can go on a cute shelf on the wall. The lamp is toi dangerous near toilet and sink, sorry. The bathroom looks very nice. The lamp is very gorgeous , but for another room. Your insurance company would agree.
I like the black color, but like others commenters said the lamp looks heavy I would consider removing it.

Love the wallpaper!! So subtle but it makes the space. I agree, nix the lamp, bring in le petite chandelier and the French moose head...every room needs a sense of humor.

Many VERY good elements, but decoration overshadows practicality. Remember : Less is more. My suggestions first remove lamp, hang towel-bar under Brooklyn Bridge ( unless you are a lefty) put tissue box on top of toilet tank, find anther place in the house for the personal photos and replace soap& soap-dish with a pretty liquid soap bottle ( more hygienic) . This being said, I wish my toilet would look half as good.
Where is the lamp plugged in? Or is it just for "show" ?
I 'd remove the lamp, it's too much of a hazard to me.
Great job .. love the dark/white contrast!

As many have already said, I would agree that the lamp does not look good there. I would remove it and lower the picture above it.

Would also remove everything except the soap from the counter.

What kind of a light fixture do you have on the ceiling? Be sure to use the brightest bulb.
