I have been working hard on getting my guest bedroom ready for visitors we have coming for Christmas/New Year's Eve. I recently bought an antique bed for the room and used bedding and a rug I already own. Since it's a rental and I can't paint or cover the walls in anything, I thought maybe curtains would help the room look more "finished" than it does now. I don't want to spend a ton of money (as it is only a rental and I'm getting ready to buy a place) but I'm completely stumped on what to do for this room. Originally I was thinking lace curtains would be pretty without being too dark in a small room with only two windows on one wall, but now I'm afraid with the antique bed that idea will look a little too much like grandma's house. Does anyone have any ideas?
