Okay Houzzers, this is from a 17 year old who took her Mom's advice and posted to see what might come back from all the experts. The bedspread is from Pottery Barn....and the bottom skirt is a velvet that we have more of....for a window valance possibly.
The soft pink walls and the pink/yellow/white stripe wallpaper below the chair rail are too "young" for her so if you have a suggestion for wall color and artwork above the bed please offer.

I like the wall color! It's not too young, it's the "stuff" in the space that is unsophisticated. How about painting the wainscoting tiffany blue? Leave the bedding and pink walls. Declutter, remove the bookcase by the bed and put a white side table and pretty lamp and you have a beautiful space. NOT this style, but look how pretty the tiffany blue walls and pink is together.

Hi Darzy, you'll make her happy as she wanted to use the tiffany/teal color all over the walls or do half and half. And if you can help me (this is her Mom) convince her to declutter, I'll die a happy woman.
