What colors are you leaning toward, lola?

Soft tone colors but if you have any ideas, I would like to hear them

How about a soft peach color that would look nice with the roof--can't quite see it, but looks like it would work on my monitor. Check out Sherwin Williams Warming Peach #6338:

Another soft color that is nice is Easy Green #6450:

And one more would be Topiary Tint #6449:

Thanks for the idea

Are you in the south? near coast? I would keep it in a pastel color, but not yellow.

Bubba, we live in southern Florida. I'm not really sure of the color of the roof. It's in great shape.

Sustainable, we live in southern Florida as I mention above. and I'll keep that in mind

Is your roof color a tan color? I'm in South Florida - east coast - and we do have a lot of yellow in our area. Probably because of our location in the tropics. But on your home the garage doors don't look like they are painted. They look like they were installed and never painted. The front door doesn't stand out from the house. Usually here we do a min of 3 colors: base, trim and front door. Are you looking to change colors to be more neutral or something else?

Here is another tropical color for your consideration. The front doors on this home are: impact mahogany doors made by 'Signature Doors'
You can see details and several views of this exterior by clicking on the photo name

The roof is some what a peach color. The previous owners didn't do much to the house. The garage doors were never painted. We are looking to change the whole look of the house. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I like that SeaFoam Bungalow look above your post with the SW Copan Blue for the base, white trim and the front and garage doors painted to look like they are the mahogany doors. If you prefer to have the garage doors recede, then paint them the base color of the home. Check to make sure you are using the right sheen on the doors and trim too. That mahogany look paint technique is done here quite a bit as it is less expensive than purchasing the actual impact mahogony doors.

What colors do you like? What style?
Are you looking to make color changes with paint or other changes as well?

lol! Ladies, I wish I could paint my home a cheery yellow, but up here in the frozen tundra, my neighbors would never let me hear the end of it!!!

lola...You are in great hands with Denita!!! She always has great ideas and she REALLY knows her stuff!!!

Love that Copen blue! AND the seafoam!

lol..bubba, you should drive down some of the streets here! We have pink, yellow, blue, seafoam green...and the list goes on. It can get quite colorful unless you are in a HOA type community where we have 12 variations of beige. :)

I can’t type…kitty in my lap, so doing the right hand, index finger thing…it is the hip roof I love.

Love the ideas. I would have never thought of that.

Now I have some ideas when I go and get my supplies.

Couple more photos for you to review

Denita....do homes in FL usually need gutters and downspouts?

Yes. We have two seasons here: wet season and dry :) However, it is usually an extra when having a house built and many people don't notice the missing gutters and downspouts until the first downpour.

We have cold and wet, colder and wetter. And the gutters and downspouts are never nicely camouflaged like in these examples.

I try to change color.

But only changing color isn't enough.you need to improve curb appeal.

Add a sit area.

A edible garden nice.

Add a sit area.

Add a porch,cool.

a porch.

Hmmmm.

We really liked Sherwin Williams Mega Greige (I think it's SW7030)

Here shillegeist, is this your color?

Yes. That's it! We used the SW7029 as an accent around the window frames & doors. It's just a nice neutral pallet.

blue or light grey. and ps I LOVE Denita's choice.

Then I'm guessing Iola wi. Home of the best car show in the world. Also excellent biking in your county.

So do you have close neighbors and what are their colors? What will the front door color be?

All the above colors are beautiful, this darker, is also option a beautiful garden.

SW 2810 color

I could see a blue slightly darker than the garage doors or perhaps Sherwin Williams Persimmon.

Navy or yellow door.

Oh! Your garage doors looked light blue on my screen. If they aren't painted, I would match them to your main colour, or at least a shade close to it.

Adding a porch or other entrance feature will be as important as the paint. Love the mega greige with your roof color. A nice front door color will make it look professionally designed
