Hello! We just purchased this home and are not sure how deal with our kitchen. Although quite nice, the cabinets are not in the best condition, so we were considering painting them. The medallion over the stove and the fan will also need to change. We are not sure what color to paint the cabinets, what to replace the medallion with as well as the new light fixture over the middle island. If possible we would like to leave the granite which has browns, black, greige and gold in it. Our floors are also more on the gold side with hints of gray. We would really like to freshen up and modernize the area. The kitchen tends to be a bit dark, but my husband is not fond of stark white cabinets. We would also like some advice for a light fixture over our kitchen table and possibility a window treatment for the wall by the kitchen table. Our restoration hardware table feels lost with the gold/beige walls. Any recommendations, ideas, photos would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
