Thoughts on painting triangles black

This is our fixer upper. We had the roof replaced a couple weeks ago and put a black edge on it. We are now painting it the same colors as it was before. The colors are SW 6073 Perfect Greige. and the trim is SW 7012 Creamy. The front door will be black. The outside lights are black. I would like to paint the little triangles above the windows black. Your thoughts?

Perhaps paint the mullions black instead of the triangular pieces.

It could work but I don't think this house call for a black trim. how about a grey or brown?

I assume by "triangles" you are referring to the little keystone motifs at the top of the arches. Architecturally, they should match the window frame of which they are the major decor statement. You might paint the inner portion that looks like plantation shutters in a darker tone from the same color strip card where your greige is found.

Wouldn't paint the " triangles" black. Once you get the door painted black, your home will make a beautiful statement. Very nice home. Think a about some colorful flowers in the front.

Wait, paint the door first then see if you want to add more black. If you paint the little "triangles" as you call them, I'm afraid it will look like poke-a-dots from the street.
