a mirror will only reflect the living room. i think you would be better with some more art. as there isn't much of that around your space. also where do people take of their coats and shoes?

I live in Florida, Naples, so I was thinking to put a plant in one side and a big vase for umbrellas ... it is too wide to put it between the door and the window but maybe I can put more art in that wall, love the one you show in the photo and the lamp too but the cord will be visible, where I can get both?

Agree, the piece is not large enough for that wall, but wouldn't want to see it in the living room as there is too much matching going on already. Try lowering the picture over the sofa to about 5" above the back. Would like to see you focus on window treatments and maybe the console will work itself out when you find the right pieces to expand its footprint.

I think a mirror will be just right over that table, as it makes sense in a foyer area, even though I realize it will just reflect the living space. I would not worry about the lamp cord showing, as I would love a lamp there, too, as decor strategically placed will cover it all up.

Different subject for a sec. I really love your art over the sectional, but think it should be lowered about 4".

Thank you all for your comments. I was thinking to expand the footprint with art like a gallery. In the center of the console a round mirror (the size I think should be 75% of the console) the width of the console is 48" so I was thinking a round mirror of 36' and in the side of the mirror art work. Or two big art work that together are a little wider than the console, I will post the photos and I will right now lowered the art over the sectional and buy window treatments.

What's troublesome about the console table at the entryway is that it is glass and the front door is glass, both hard elements, and the hard tile floor. I would not have that table there. If you don't have a place for it in another room, a large rug at the entry would soften the look considerably.

After waiting so long for the mirror that never arrives I bought another mirror. This is the progress of the decoration of the console table. It is pending to buy the planter and put lower the art. Hope you like it.

Very nice. The only change I'd make is to do less centering of the objects on the hall table. Same items but maybe a few groupings not centered. It's nice to place objects one third of the distance from one side and two thirds from the other and to have some things alone but some as pairs or trios.

I would put some kind of vases or decorations on the shelves of the console table and I bright colored artwork to help set the mood of the room, rather than a mirror that will reflect the same thing that is in the room. Very nice! I would try to run the cord down behind the leg of the table. If you guide it that way, it just might stay hidden as it comes down the wall. Maybe the taller lantern on that side will disguise it a bit, too.

lower the art over the sofa, and add more art to that wall. it blends with the wall color too much consider framing and matting it with more bold statement. the lamp on the end table is to tall and thin for that space. and the shade is too neutral. the end table actually looks small. you might want to put the bench centered under the window.

i love the mirror it looks fantastic btw. just need a splash of color on the flanking side of the mirror, and some plants would be nice!

Have you considered a standing framed mirror the same width as the console.
That's a large space the mirror will help to fill it up and a hanging chandelier would add some brilliance.
