I posted a thread a few days ago about adding some Ivory throw pillows and accents in my living room. So as not to get that thread off track, I'm starting a new one.

Our current coffee table and dining table are needing repair so we are wanting to change them out. I love, love, love the farm house table look and have wanted to have a new rustic one made in all stain and use my current black ladder back chairs.

My husband humored me this weekend by driving out to farm country an hour and a half away to see some custom tables from a local artisan there. They were what I was looking for and the pricing was right for us so we bought one!

Back track to two weeks ago when I finally broke down and bought the Griffin coffee table from Pottery Barn. I love the table style, however I was unsure at that time whether it would go with my current dining table. Thanks to some wonderful advice from Houzz members, I was thrilled with the Griffin coffee table decision.

Until now...and my question is this, do I keep the Griffin table (not yet here) and pair it with the table we bought, or do we have the artisan make a "similar, yet different" coffee table either with different legs or different colors or different wood top layout?
My decorating style is rustic traditional mixed with min-rustic traditional as well as a little transitional, but not much. Some wrought iron in the kitchen area.
