The staircase shows using of curved lines with the stairs both going down and up allow you eyes to travel up the stairs

This shows the use of horizontal lines. In this picture the floating shelf’s on the right are making the shelf’s look wider and the wood even wraps around the corner and on to the wall giving that wider vibe
