Lari Jacobson Muralist & Decorative ArtistArtists & ArtisansArt has always been my passion. Even as a child, I sensed that art would always be a central influence upon my life. I truly enjoy the creative process. When I approach a project, I first consider the personal, social or historical context of the subject. I engage the client in this creative dialogue through research, sketches and conversation. I draw further inspiration from texture, color and pattern. My ultimate goal is always to achieve for the client exactly what they want while still challenging myself through the unique, creative process of each work. I have over thirty years professional experience painting murals and decorative finishes for residential, corporate and non-profit clients on walls, ceilings, floors, canvas and furniture. Historical paintings are based on traditional styles which include Classical, Asian and Italian influences; utilizing techniques that include classical ornamentation, trompe l’oeil, tole painting, glazing, marbleizing, stenciling, original and faux finishes. All murals and decorative painting are custom designed and site specific—often integrating personal, social or historical elements. Former Head Designer for Frederick Cooper, Chicago, IL Education and Training: Rodger Newton School of Decorative Finishes, London, UK Boston University, Boston, MA Miami University, Oxford, OH New York Studio School, NYC, NY References & portfolio available upon request.
I cannot recommend Lari highly enough. She has now created three murals in our home, and each one is absolutely extraordinary. Beyond her incredible talent, she is also a genuinely delightful person to work with and to have in your home: thoughtful, collaborative, professional, and warm. I had admired her work for years on Instagram and in several friends’ homes, so when I moved into a new house and wanted to make it feel personal and special, she was one of my very first calls. With almost no direction beyond “I’d love a nature scene with climbable trees” and a few paint colors I hoped to incorporate, she freehand painted a breathtaking, two-story wraparound mural that completely transformed the space into a true work of art. The following year, my boys begged her to return and create a jungle mural in their bedroom inspired by our travels to Latin America. Again, with only a handful of travel photos and minimal guidance, she created something magical: a room that genuinely transports them back to those adventures every single day. She even had the boys paint in a few of the birds as a finishing touch! Most recently, she worked on a basement/playroom remodel where the mural itself had been designed by someone else. She had absolutely no issue bringing another artist’s vision to life flawlessly, and even extended the design seamlessly up the staircase. Her versatility and artistic ability truly know no bounds. Before spending a fortune on wallpaper, please consider hiring Lari instead. What she creates is personal, unique, alive, and impossible to replicate. We treasure every piece she has created for our family.

Dennis Sabo PhotographyArtists & ArtisansTypical Job Cost: $500 - 5,000
Dennis Sabo is an internationally award winning photographer specializing in contemporary fine art abstract, landscape, and seascape photography. Dennis Sabo Photography was recently juried into the prestigious, inaugural 2024 International Visionary Awards, Canada, for his story collection, “A Pond Kaleidoscope” based on the Tarn marshes in the Acadia National Park, Maine. Dennis offers unique landscapes and natural world abstracts that capture the beauty and spirit of nature. Dennis's fine art has been included in solo and group gallery exhibitions, commercial installations and private home collections throughout the United States and internationally, and also in books, magazines, and in multimedia worldwide including NOVA, PBS, National Geographic, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Portfolio Magazine Florida, and Blue Planet. His award-winning work has appeared in various publications and institutions. He was the featured story: “The Earth World – Dennis Sabo – A Master of Lens, Light, Color and Art” in the Portfolio May 2018, Naples, Florida magazine and his photographic artwork ‘Okavango Twilight’ was used as the cover art for that Portfolio magazine. Dennis is considered to be a master at transforming an image into something the viewer can connect with emotionally. His painterly and emotionally charged photographs are reminiscent of the best works of art by the legendary Impressionists while capturing light and its effect on the landscape with a contemporary vibrancy and energy. Color and Light while at the fore front of his photography is not his only conscious art play. Most of his nature imagery is a microcosm of a subject so that collectors can relate to the artwork regardless of where they live. Says Dennis, “My photographic goal is to evoke an emotional experience for the viewer. Perhaps it is how the subject is bathed in light, perhaps it is the lines of the subject that draws you in, or simply it is an image that you enjoy viewing. My interest is in the natural details; how the environment on a particular day, in a particular light, and at a particular moment in time correlates to my personal vision and interpretation of nature." Please view my Art of Seeing video that showcases my journey as an artist as well as comments from collectors along with examples of some of my favorite photographic art at https://www.dsabophoto.com/My-Story-My-Art
After moving into our new home in East Tennessee, we determined we wanted to have some artwork that showcased the beauty of the area; the Smoky Mountains in particular. Having heard of Dennis' art work we contacted him for an initial chat. We then looked at his website and selected a few items we liked. Dennis then came to our home and refined the selection and determined sizes and location. The artwork was ordered and arrive a few weeks later. Dennis delivered them to us and we didn't waste time hanging them. They look great. Besides loving the beautiful photographs, we appreciate Dennis' personal touch.

Clay Squared was amazing to work with! We wanted to redo the old, stained, crumbling brick fireplace face in out 1908 home. The mantle was in good condition but we wanted to use tile in in a period-appropriate color to update the look. Clay Squared has period-appropriate collections to help you narrow down your color choices, and several sample fireplace layouts for inspiration. The tile color we chose was Jade Moss. We wanted to coordinate with some elongated hexagon-shaped window panes that flank the fireplace so we wanted to work the elongated hex tiles into the design. Louise designed a beautiful tile layout and suggested several area installers. We went with Hohn & Hohn and they did an amazing job on the installation. From start to finish, this was a project we were pleased with and our fireplace is now the focal point of our living room. See the before and after photos below.

Amazingly talented artist and equally professional to deal with. Nancy was very helpful in the selection process and the Visualizer was a great benefit with respect to sizing and orientation. The pictures came out beautiful and when one of the frames arrived slightly warped from the printer, she was insistent to immediately replace it. We proudly display three of her pieces which add unique character and color to the décor of our gameroom.

Flo de BretagneArtists & ArtisansTypical Job Cost: $1,000 - 10,000
I am passionate about bringing joy through art. My paintings speak of beauty, bounty, hope, serenity, and fruitfulness of life. They are nature inspired and their bright vivid colors will give a new feel to your entire home. I can work on commission and ship worldwide.
I cannot fully describe in words what it means to have the privilege of living with Florence’s art. I own four of her paintings and they bring joy to me and my family every day and awe from anyone who visits our home. I first fell in love with her gorgeous seed paintings, but over time I have realized the true breadth of her talent. The diversity of her work is really incredible. We own a seed painting, two glorious sea creatures and a landscape. The vibrancy of her colors and the intricacy of her designs result in paintings which are uniquely rich. Ultimately what sets Florence’s work apart is her dedication, both to her craft, and especially to her desire to reflect the happiness found in nature. To bring such beauty into my home has been a very real source of joy in my life.
