Gold leaf in the art work, reflective antique mirrors in the sideboard and the sunburst mirror on the dining room wall all reflect the light that streams in. A custom designed buffet from Robert Allen reflects the furniture and rug from the living room.....Photo by Jared Kuzia

Example of a danish bathroom design in Montreal with a console sink, flat-panel cabinets, light wood cabinets and white walls

This kitchen is a prime example of beautifully designed functionality. From the spacious maple butcher block island & eating bar to the roll-up pass through window for outdoor entertaining, the space can handle whatever situation the owners throw at it. The Espresso stain on these Medallion cabinets of Cherry wood really anchors the whimsy of the yellow bar stools and the ginger-tone checkerboard Marmoleum floor. Cabinets designed and installed by Allen's Fine Woodworking Cabinetry and Design, Hood River, OR.

Inspiration for a mid-sized rustic back porch remodel in San Francisco with decking and a roof extension

When you accept things as they are and do not try to improve them, there is more time left to just enjoy these things. Imperfection is not something to be endured. It is an integral part of life we must learn to accept and celebrate.

Bedroom - cottage medium tone wood floor and brown floor bedroom idea in Portland with white walls

Being a second floor remodel we maintained the position of the toilet to save plumbing cost to use on the finishes to portray our theme. To accent the rustic natural feel desired we introduced two vertical distressed wood posts flanking a sink vanity. No purpose other than for fun and accepting accessory hook for hand towel storage. To maintain a light sense of design we kept the vanity sink open underneath in a furniture styled cabinet with legs. We continued the white subway tile around the room introducing a tile pattern change above a chair rail simulating painted wood wainscoting below. The addition of rustic shelves in a distressed metal, étagère supports the theme and adds practical guest storage for anyone lucky enough to enjoy our “Beachy Bath”.

An expansive living room called for substantial seating that would also be kid-friendly so we gladly accepted the challenge. These slipcovered sofas and darling striped swivels are life-proof and leave plenty of room for crawling on the floor or playing legos. Yet, impeccable style is also achieved, by Mary Hannah Interiors.

Inspiration for a transitional master gray tile gray floor and double-sink alcove shower remodel in Minneapolis with shaker cabinets, gray cabinets, white walls, an undermount sink, a hinged shower door, beige countertops and a built-in vanity

This gray and transitional kitchen remodel bridges the gap between contemporary style and traditional style. The dark gray cabinetry, light gray walls, and white subway tile backsplash make for a beautiful, neutral canvas for the bold teal blue and yellow décor accented throughout the design.
Designer Gwen Adair of Cabinet Supreme by Adair did a fabulous job at using grays to create a neutral backdrop to bring out the bright, vibrant colors that the homeowners love so much.
This Milwaukee, WI kitchen is the perfect example of Dura Supreme's recent launch of gray paint finishes, it has been interesting to see these new cabinetry colors suddenly flowing across our manufacturing floor, destined for homes around the country. We've already seen an enthusiastic acceptance of these new colors as homeowners started immediately selecting our various shades of gray paints, like this example of “Storm Gray”, for their new homes and remodeling projects!
Dura Supreme’s “Storm Gray” is the darkest of our new gray painted finishes (although our current “Graphite” paint finish is a charcoal gray that is almost black). For those that like the popular contrast between light and dark finishes, Storm Gray pairs beautifully with lighter painted and stained finishes.
