The project photos displayed here exhibit the Hogan Design & Construction (HDC) standard of excellence. Through unique remodeling techniques, premier customer service and unmatched craftsmanship, HDC goes ‘Beyond Buidling' to enhance the homeowner's living space. This kitchen, dining and mud room remodeling project included; custom built-in shelving, storage, stacked cabinets with glass panels/under cabinet lighting and elegant hardware, enhancing the overall contemporary style and presentation. A chandelier and can lighting throughout brighten the rooms, creating a warm and inviting space. Wainscoting, casing and crown molding amplify the project redesign trim components. The free-standing island with quartz countertop and farmhouse sink complement the modern subway tile backsplash, adding a bright and airy feel to the kitchen. The mud room refresh with lockers/cubbies and extra storage completes the overall kitchen/dining room and entryway remodeling project.

Marble hexagon mosaic tiles were installed on the shower floor and a sliding glass shower door replaced the dated swinging door. A shower grab bar was added for safety. Lighting was amplified with new ceiling recessed LED damp-rated lighting as well as new pendant lights flanking the vanity mirror.

These clients had a hodgepodge of furniture mixed with a few great features and pieces - such as the William Morris wallpaper and vintage Chinese rug. We sourced a mix of vintage, new, and custom pieces to amplify the best parts of the existing features and create a space that felt less “formal” and more warm and inviting. We gutted the powder bath and created a fun statement with bright crocodile tile and subtle details. The kitchen needed a little facelift to stand up to the rest of the first floor, so we updated the tile, range, counters, hardware, plumbing fixtures, and lighting to bring the space to life. FUN FACT: The fireplace was a dated yellow brick with a massive TV mounted above that was never used. Home theater - large traditional enclosed carpeted and black floor home theater idea in New Orleans with brown walls and a projector screen

A resident with Scandinavian roots sought to brighten his ground-floor flat, realized with aesthetic homage to his homeland. Aeriform walls and desaturated flooring draw tree-filtered sunlight deeper into the home, anchored by anthracite doors and off-black flecked stone. Full-height translucent curtains amplify the living spaces while obscuring them from the street. Each one features custom furniture developed with artisans: a bed and nightstands, a dining table of perpendicular planes, a breakfast counter — all finished in a muted earth wash in equipoise to the flooring. The sleeping amenities are symmetrical in detail down to double individual duvets; bed linens and drapes blend in brumal indulgence. The dining area is completed by a Portuguese pendant lamp, efficient seating on an upholstered storage bench, and recycled-composite chairs in ovate forms to counter the rectilinearity. Their profiles evoke the bulbous breakfast barstools, set among the contrast of stone countertop and satin stainless steel suspended in subtle kitchen cabinetry. This particular straight staircase is full or architectural details; properly spaced square balusters and simple/elegant square newels make a dramatic impact in this completely four-levels-renovated home in the heart of Arlington. The artwork chosen for this bedroom design inspired the color scheme, guiding the overall aesthetic. We kept the walls a creamy white to enhance the sense of space and incorporated a large brass mirror to amplify light and openness. Soft shades of pink and green were introduced through the selected textiles, adding warmth and creating a serene, relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful Georgian home for a young family. A modern interpretation of traditional home, breathing freshness and color and light. Modern custom rugs anchor spaces and marry styles, textures, and materials. Walls were kept (mostly) light to amplify the airy feeling. Architecture and interiors melded together for a timeless appeal.

Proving that every home can be beautiful, regardless of size, style or budget...this master bedroom used carefully selected products from budget-friendly sources. Bold colors and use of texture create an inviting and beautiful bed, all without breaking the bank. The ample use of color helps reflect the youth of the couple, while the tailored and structured styling of the bed and tufted chairs add sophistication and a casual maturity. Tall ceilings were accented with the use of tall mirrors behind the nightstands and through floor-to-ceiling red drapes (in production during photos). Although there is ample natural light, there was no ceiling lighting. A modern ceiling fan with a drum-style light kit was added. The mirrors also serve to amplify the side lamps in the evening. A sitting area for relaxing, reading, and retreat was added with an area rug to balance the room with color and scale.

Separated from the living area, the bedroom is designed to be the coziest space in the unit. The bedroom's strategic use of mirrors on either side of the bed amplifies the available light from the window and enables the room to feel larger and brighter. The primary goal of the Ithaca II project was to open up the home to amplify natural light, bring outdoor views inside, and create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Additional updates refreshed the interiors with a focus on millwork and storage. The previous floor plan of this 1963 home carved up the main level into separate living, dining, family room and kitchen spaces that limited both sunlight and usable space for the way contemporary families live and entertain. By opening the layout and expanding the kitchen, the main floor instantly became more functional without disrupting the curved central staircase — an integral architectural element of the home. Adding a glass-inset front door, opening up exterior walls and incorporating wide folding glass doors instantly maximized natural light. In the all-new kitchen, maple cabinetry, a painted white island, quartz counters, backsplashes and appliances have created a space perfect for cooking and casual dining. The new accordion doors open both the adjacent dining area and living room to an expanded deck for seamless al fresco gatherings. Alpine Summit Homes added new four-inch white oak hardwood flooring to the main level. Trim molding was refreshed throughout the home with clean lines to add a modern look while maintaining the classic midcentury architectural roots. New storage cabinetry was added to the living room and powder/laundry room, while the primary suite received new doors and bathroom fixtures to match the main-level updates.
