Governed by a white and red theme, we used sophisticated modern furnishings to divide the room into separate areas. For the TV area, we used a big square tufted cushion sectional in red with throw pillows and complemented it with a similar patterned coffee table and a futuristic rocking chair in white. The other area, which is more suitable for conversations, features four round sofa chairs in white and a circular center table in wood. We made the room more interesting through abstract wall art and a poodle dog sculpture in silver. The comfortable bed features bedding in shades of gray, white, and beige. While the wood-framed study table with a white top and a matching chair is a focused workspace, the round sofa chair and footstool in red create a more relaxed seating space. Inspiration for a large contemporary master white tile and stone slab marble floor doorless shower remodel in New York with white walls, onyx countertops, a drop-in sink, flat-panel cabinets and orange cabinets

This staircase leading to this home's back door was rebuilt to include under-stair storage. The stair fronts were left open, and the inside of the staircase was framed, allowing a continuation of flooring. The extra floor space in this staircase creates the perfect shoe storage and eliminating the chance of tripping over shoes. Project designed by Skokie renovation firm, Chi Renovation & Design.
