The bar was designed to accommodate mixing up a post-workout smoothie or a post-hot tub evening beverage, and is oriented at the billiards area to create central focal point in the space. Conveniently adjacent to both the fitness area and the media zone it is only steps away for a snack.

This basement kitchenette and bar area was designed as the perfect gathering spot for entertaining family and friends. Navy blue cabinetry paired with matte black hardware creates a bold, sophisticated look, while the dark countertop provides durable workspace for serving drinks and snacks. A beverage refrigerator, ice maker and bar sink add convenience and functionality, making the space ideal for hosting. Floating shelves above the counter provide open storage and display space for glassware, bottles, and personal décor, giving the bar a relaxed, collected feel. The white shiplap ceiling and warm wood flooring brighten the space and tie it into the surrounding living and recreation areas, creating a cohesive design throughout the lake home basement.

This basement kitchen is given new life as a modern bar with quartz countertop, navy blue cabinet doors, satin brass edge pulls, a beverage fridge, pull out faucet with matte black finish. The backsplash is patterned 8x8 tiles with a walnut wood shelf. The space was painted matte white, the ceiling popcorn was scraped off, painted and installed with recessed lighting. As with the rest of the house, gold and brass tones beautifully accent black cabinetry in this wet bar, though in this case the golden hue comes out through the vibrant metallic backsplash. Matte black slab doors and smoky black glass upper cabinet doors add depth, dimension, and style to this single wall prep space. A beverage sink keeps drinks cool and refreshing, while a long open shelf keeps glasses within easy reach. This family wanted one large kitchen with a large island. They loved a rustic feeling, so we removed a wall to unite the space and added beams on ceiling, matching wood to frame the entrance, as well as wood shelves. A side bar area with glass wall cabinets. beverage fridge and bookcase create an inviting entertaining wall. The matte countertops and matte backsplash create a soft looking space. the oil rubbed bronze artifacts faucets also add to the rustic feel.
