If you are anything like me you are always looking for serving areas. I designed these collapsible tray tables based on a vintage baggage stand concept. We have them throughout the house and quite frankly, I can’t image not having them… I use them in so many ways. Here one makes the perfect place to showcase desert. Not only does this leave the host or hostess free to do less hopping between courses but it also provides another place for a holiday vignette. Based on other life priorities, not all of our work with clients happens at once. When we first met, we pulled up their carpet and installed hardy laminate flooring, along with new baseboards, interior doors and painting. A year later we cosmetically remodeled the kitchen installing new countertops, painting the cabinets and installing new fittings, hardware and a backsplash. Then a few years later the big game changer for the interior came when we updated their furnishings in the living room and family room, and remodeled their living room fireplace. The wall cabinetry is “Stacked wall cabinets to the ceiling” with glass door inserts in the upper sections. Gorgeous granite countertops in New Venetian Gold. The added upgrades are a base cabinet pantry pull out and roll trays in the tall pantry cabinet.

House exterior siding was completely replaced. Added new PVC window trim and replaced the original 4 x 4 posts at the porch with tapered trim and stone base support assemblies.

Hand crafted of natural teak and ultra UV resistant N-dura resin in a new finish called Kubu, Summer Classics Sahara Collection is as durable as it is beautiful. The outdoor lounge chair and sofa features expansive proportions woven with a half ring profile resin wicker extrusion. Each piece features a teak arm inlay and plinth base. The subtle light and dark variegation of the Kubu wicker is ultra realistic with a natural reed rattan look. The outdoor chaise lounge reclines flat. Use two together to make a stunning daybed. Sahara offers a beautiful natural finish to any space.

Designed by Susan Rotelli of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Fredericksburg, VA in collaboration with Good Bones Remodeling, this contemporary kitchen design features Merillat Classic kitchen cabinets in the Fusion door style in 2 finishes. The wall cabinets feature a white Cotton finish, and the base cabinets including the island cabinets show a grey-toned Shale finish. Kitchen countertops are Silestone in the color Eternal Statuario. Our sweet spot lies within the fabrication of custom. Every detail, every design, and every selection- building based on a lifestyle. "Simple" was thrown around a few times throughout the design phase of this home and while it was designed to be family friendly the richness of beauty and detail is not lacking. Kelly Lane Photography
