The BTA Design Center entry door area features an Italian made ballistic door wrapped in back-lit onyx that opens automatically when stood in front of. A hurricane rated bugscreen that lowers from ceiling and a doorbell cam complete with 2-way voice capability and back lighting to see easily at night.

A new open air deck was built in front of the existing porch to provide room for a grill and outdoor living. To match the home's exterior color trim we used vinyl railing post sleeves to create a bulletproof, low maintenance railing system.

We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on this clean NW Contemporary home. Due to its remote location, our goal was to pre-fabricate as much as possible and shorten the installation time on site. We were able to cut and pre-fit all the glue-laminated timber frame structural elements, the Douglas Fir tongue and groove ceilings, and even the open riser Maple stair. The pictures mostly speak for themselves; but it is worth noting, we were very pleased with the final result. Despite its simple modern aesthetic with exposed concrete walls and miles of glass on the view side, the wood ceilings and the warm lighting give a cozy, comfy feel to the spaces. The owners were very involved with the design and build, including swinging hammers with us, so it was a real labor of love. Our front entrance features a beautiful putting green complete with artificial turf and sand-trap. Limestone hardscape, an Italian-made automated ballistic door, state of the art 360 degree surveillance cameras, and a hurricane rated bug screen (pictured in door frame).

This is an organic Lime Wash done with a true lime wash product as opposed to a brick mortar or concrete that is often seen on new houses. This product can be applied as a solid coating making the surface completely white, or can be applied and "washed off" in many artistic ways, as seen here. For this project in Alamo, we shepherded the transition of a traditional California Ranch house into a clean modern home for our clients, empty nesters who love to entertain. Within an interior envelope of all-white walls and newly-elevated ceilings, a limited palette of materials consisting of warm oak floors and cabinetry combined with warm neutrals and soft grays, feels like a breath of fresh air and allows the greenery outside the many windows to play a leading role in the color scheme. The furnishings, including custom upholstered furnishings by Hardesty Dwyer, are comfortable and “bulletproof” to accommodate the couple’s six lively grandchildren. In the vaulted great-room, a large family table is the heart of the home. It is here that the couple regularly hosts Sunday dinners with their children and grandchildren.

Our clients wanted a traditional, light, and open family home with special moments throughout. We love the feminine fabrics in the kitchen but don’t be fooled by the pink counter stools, the material is bulletproof! Architectural finish consultation and full home cosmetic finish selection including kitchen, bar, and bathroom cabinetry, as well as plumbing, tile, hardwood, hardware, and lighting selections. Soft furnishings design including furniture, wallpaper, custom window treatments, and accessories throughout the home.
