Being out in the country, we wanted to incorporate some of that into our styling without going overboard. Instead of using traditional planters we opted for using these vintage milk glass planters.

Walking into the home you have the home office to the right and the dining room to the left. With so much going on throughout the rest of the home, we intentionally choose to keep the dining room simple in design. Around the chalk-painted table we placed woven dining room chairs. Not only do they add warmth and interest to the room but they are easy to clean - perfect for a young family of seven!

With so much going on throughout the rest of the home, we intentionally choose to keep the dining room simple in design. Around the chalk-painted table we placed woven dining room chairs. Not only do they add warmth and interest to the room but they are easy to clean - perfect for a young family of seven!

We breathed new life into this kitchen nook by keeping the styling simple and fresh. Bringing in a combination of faux and living plants, we displayed them in milk glass planters.

White-wash Ash sliding barn doors (pre-installation) to divide a living room and adjacent office space. Old White Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan, with Clear and White Soft Waxes to seal.

This lovely chest of drawers was purchased as a floor model at an inexpensive store. Swapping the existing small metal knobs out with smooth large knobs in a similar patina really made a difference in the look and also the feel of using the drawers. Brass nail head trim was added next around the top edge. Topped off with a memory foam changing pad and soft blanket cover, this piece of furniture is ready and versatile! The antique wood chair was a gift and fabric was chosen to compliment the new furniture addition.

Inspiration for a craftsman bedroom remodel in Other

DESIGNER TIP: when it comes to greenery, don’t be afraid to mix and match! In this kitchen nook, we used a combination of faux and living plants. While the greenery in the milk glass planters are real, the long stems are from Target.

When moving from California to Williamsburg several years ago, our client did an excellent job of decluttering their home in order to make room for peace! In the years since then, they’ve invested in beautiful pieces of furniture that fit their home and style; however, they found the overall design of their home lacking. We see this a lot when it comes to our interior styling clients; that while they may have a beautiful home, it doesn’t quite feel finished. Maybe they just moved in or maybe they moved in five years ago - our job is to come in and turn their “house” into a “home”.
