This "Dream" room was designed for a young girl, which she can easily grow into with a few simple changes in bedding and accents. Cole & Son's Woods and Stars was selected as a feature wall in a pretty pale blue, a nod to the surrounding woods and adding an ethereal touch. The ceiling was painted to match the walls, for a fully enveloped feeling. Rainbows and Unicorns abound in this fantasy forest. A secret playroom hides behind the spare closet's doors, with a dreamy sky overhead, complete with a fluffy cloud pendant. The loveseat pulls out into a twin bed for sleep overs.

The existing roof was sliced from eave to eave in a long linear ribbon of glass so the colors of the sky would be reflected inside and provide a play of light and shadows throughout the day. The clouds and the ever changing sky are visible throughout the living and upper loft areas.

Great room with tall ceilings, curved archways, and exposed beams set the mediterranean style base for the home but furnishings are traditional with a colorful twist of blue, white and touches of orange. A seating area is centered off the fireplace and mantel, which acts as a focal point within the room. The fireplace is surrounded by decorative and detail-oriented millwork and alcoves that display artwork & statues, all the while drawing the eye up towards the hand-painted oval ceiling feature and suspended crystal chandelier.
