We completely re-imagined this space. it had no human scale to it...original fireplace was diminutive compared to the soaring walls. We created architectural details where there were none. Bluestone fireplace is the center of our focal wall, capped off with antique hand-selected barn beams and crisp custom board-and-batten millwork. All floors are natural Hickory, wide-plank, engineered floor. Lower windows were replaced to make room for a large window seat.

This entryway is small compared to the grand scale of this old georgian house. We dressed it up with a stenciled grasscloth wallpaper, a combination of beautiful antique furniture pieces and a custom designed decorative floor pattern painted by our decorative painter.
