Studying art history in Milan, Italy on an academic scholarship widened my experience with the world of art and design, while obtaining my bachelor of arts degree from Clemson University. I started my own design company in 2004 after moving to the Cincinnati Ohio area. A recent move to the Dallas Texas has allowed me to expand my client base. Working with my clients in a friendly approachable way gives them a beautiful creative space that always falls within budget and feels like home. Karen was great! Karen had fantastic ideas to bring some architectural design to our home. We added wood strips and a box ceiling to our living/grand room and faux beans to our kitchen. We love the way it turned out, makes the rooms look larger and so much better than we expected. We also designed a mud room and laundry room cabinets and shelving. Again, the design was perfect for the space, and the color recommendations blended perfectly into our design and style. She is very easy to work with and listens to your vision, then she brings in her expertise to develop a design that fits in with your style, vision, and budget. I know I will work with her again in the future and hope you do as well.

Wonderful to work with in every way. She decorated my entire home. She is punctual and efficient. Very cost conscious on when to spend money and when/where to save. I first met Karen 16 years ago. She did some decorating for me and I was amazed at how talented she is. She was not like any other Designer I'd ever encountered. Not only is she very talented, she has the most amazing personality and an ability to read people which is essential when it comes to transforming one's home. Over the years I sold her several homes to flip and the response was nothing but positive. People who were not even in the market would call me to ask who the interior decorator was. Word soon traveled and she built a very successful business in Kentucky. She recently transformed my Kitchen, living room and downstairs into something I could never have imagined. I am building a new townhome and I am not great when it comes to decorating and selecting options, and I wanted some professional help. After looking through other designer pages, I really liked Karen's style and reached out to her. We had a chat about what I wanted to do, and after speaking with her I knew she'd be great!! My builder had a demanding schedule to make selections but Karen was flexible and met with me and my builder before her flight. Wow! Now to the even better part! She was such an AMAZING help!! From the photos I sent her, she quickly understood what I was looking for. She provided such wonderful guidance in helping me to see where I should splurge and where I shouldn't, what looks will last for a longer time versus some of the newer designs and techniques being used. Her selections were PERFECT and I just love her personality! She loves her work and it more than shows. I am very pleased with the choices we made and I look forward to working with Karen again and will recommend her to others :-)

Her construction crew was outstanding: prompt, professional & their work was first rate. The job was done on time, mistake free & fun! Who can say that about a whole house remodel!?! She would have gotten 10 stars if it were an option.
