After completing their son’s room, we decided to continue the designing in my client’s master bathroom in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Not only were the finishes completely overhauled, but the space plan was reconfigured too. They no longer wanted their soaking tub and requested a larger shower with a rain head and more counter top space and cabinetry. The couple wanted something that was not too trendy and desired a space that would look classic and stand the test of time. What better way to give them that than with marble, white cabinets and a chandelier to boot? This newly renovated master bath now features Cambria quartz counters, custom white cabinetry, marble flooring in a diamond pattern with mini-mosaic accents, a classic subway marble shower surround, frameless glass, new recessed and accent lighting, chrome fixtures, a coat of fresh grey paint on the walls and a few accessories to make the space feel complete.

We designed this lovely, private dining area with custom wood-slat screens and a concrete kitchen complete with seating, grilling, counters and wood storage.

The island is a dark charcoal with cool undertones that coordinates with the cabinetry and transom work in both the neighboring mudroom and breakfast area. White subway tile, quartz countertops, white enamel pendants and gold fixtures complete the update. The ends of the island are shiplap material that is also used on the fireplace in the next room. In the new mudroom, we used a fun porcelain tile on the floor to get a pop of pattern, and walnut accents add some warmth. Each child has their own cubby, and there is a spot for shoes below a long bench. Open shelving with spots for baskets provides additional storage for the room. Patio - transitional tile patio idea in Charlotte with a roof extension and a bbq area

Set upon an oversized and highly sought-after creekside lot in Brentwood, this ​two story home and full guest home exude a casual, contemporary farmhouse style and vibe. The main residence boasts 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, each ensuite with thoughtful touches that accentuate the home’s overall classic finishes. The master retreat opens to a large balcony overlooking the yard accented by mature bamboo and palms. Other features of the main house include European white oak floors, recessed lighting, built in speaker system, attached 2-car garage and a laundry room with 2 sets of state-of-the-art Samsung washers and dryers. The bedroom suite on the first floor enjoys its own entrance, making it ideal for guests. The open concept kitchen features Calacatta marble countertops, Wolf appliances, wine storage, dual sinks and dishwashers and a walk-in butler’s pantry. The loggia is accessed via La Cantina bi-fold doors that fully open for year-round alfresco dining on the terrace, complete with an outdoor fireplace. The wonderfully imagined yard contains a sparkling pool and spa and a crisp green lawn and lovely deck and patio areas. Step down further to find the detached guest home, which was recognized with a Decade Honor Award by the Los Angeles Chapter of the AIA in 2006, and, in fact, was a frequent haunt of Frank Gehry who inspired its cubist design. The guest house has a bedroom and bathroom, living area, a newly updated kitchen and is surrounded by lush landscaping that maximizes its creekside setting, creating a truly serene oasis.

Media rooms don't have to be dark to be inviting and cozy, and our clients did NOT want the usual media room colors. So we designed a glamorous and inviting retreat in hues of cream, silver and gold accents. Three of the seats recline for the ultimate viewing experience. Custom created art work completes the look and ties the pillow fabrics together.

Historical meets traditional in this Lexington inn's 22 room update/remodel. Robin oversaw the project entirely, from interior architecture to choosing the butter knives in the Inn’s restaurant. Named twice to Travel + Leisure’s “Top 100 Hotels in the World”, the project’s standout interior design continue to help earn the Inn and its upscale restaurant international accolades. This young family wanted to update their kitchen and loved getting away to the coast. We tried to bring a little of the coast to their suburban Chicago home. The statement pantry doors with antique mirror add a wonderful element to the space. The large island gives the family a wonderful space to hang out, The custom "hutch' area is actual full of hidden outlets to allow for all of the electronics a place to charge. Warm brass details and the stunning tile complete the area.

The owners of this home, completed in 2017, wanted a fitted closet with no exposed hanging or shelving but with a lot of drawers in place of a conventional dresser or armoire in the bedroom itself. The glass doors are both functional and beautiful allowing one to view the shoes and accessories easily and also serves as an eye-catching display wall. The center island, with a quartz countertop, provides a place for folding, packing, and organizing with drawers accessed from both sides. Not shown is a similar half of the closet for him and a luggage closet. The designer created splayed shafts for the large skylights to provide natural light without losing any wall space. The master closet also features one of the flush doors that were used throughout the home. These doors, made of European wood grain laminate with simple horizontal grooves cut in to create a paneled appearance, were mounted with hidden hinges, no casing, and European magnetic locks.

This stunning master suite is part of a whole house design and renovation project by Haven Design and Construction. The master bath features a 22' cupola with a breathtaking shell chandelier, a freestanding tub, a gold and marble mosaic accent wall behind the tub, a curved walk in shower, his and hers vanities with a drop down seated vanity area for her, complete with hairdryer pullouts and a lucite vanity bench.
