This staircase was designed to service a mezzanine floor in a factory owned by a high-end building company in Auckland, NZ. The spiral staircase called for simple metalwork to achieve an industrial design to fit in with the warehouse aesthetic. We achieved this with 16mm vertical round bars for the steel handrail, and a steel mesh balustrade along the top. We like the look of the mesh because it has minimal input from fabrication and gives it a simple industrial look.

Here's a complete bathroom remodel done for a family in Long Beach. Though this bathroom may look like a simple small and compact bathroom, this room holds a lot of great features. The main attraction of this bathroom comes from the open shower that is accompanied by a accented black tile wall. This shower is also featured with a full length niche for shower accessories and a bench for extra support. The bathroom is enhanced more by the golden features that come from the knobs and faucet. This bathroom is the perfect master bathroom extension.

Maple and stainless steel don't often share the same sentence, but here they find common ground. The rich, warm treads bring depth and texture, while horizontal stainless steel bars keep the design grounded in the present. Neither material overwhelms the other. Looking down through the floating glass staircase into the kitchen we see the low-voltage fixtures that light the island workspace below. The challenge of how to integrate task-lighting into the space without taking away from the beautiful structure and transparency of the staircase is solved using 12V cable which is strung along the support structure that runs the length of the stairway bridge. This cable energizes (5) MR16 FL40 lamps in fixtures which directly downlight the counter to 52FC without glare, spill, or lamp backsplash.
