A room which the couple weren’t sure how it should be used. We suggested a baby grand piano for two reasons, i.e the piano speaks to elegance and it offered an opportunity for the children to take lessons (which they have done). The soft shades of gold are seen in the faux painted horizontal stripes on the walls. The silk fabrics used in the window treatments and seating add to the soft warmth and everything is grounded by the Saxony wool and silk red and gold area carpet. The black cube styled tables were custom made and finished in high gloss to coordinate with the piano. Accessories and art were selected to color coordinate.

Over time, a well-loved painted furniture piece will show distinctive signs of wear and use. Each chip and dent tells a story of its history through layers of paint. With its beautifully aged surface and chipped edges, Dura Supreme’s Heritage Paint collection is designed to resemble a cherished family heirloom.
Dura Supreme artisans hand-detail the surface to create the look of time worn distressing. Finishes are layered to emulate the look of furniture that has been refinished over the years. A layer of stain is covered with a layer of paint with special effects to age the surface. The paint is then chipped away along corners and edges to create, the signature look of Heritage Paint.
Dura Supreme’s Heritage Paint collection, of finishes can be selected on Maple for a smooth surface or Knotty Alder for a more rugged, rustic look. A beautiful palette of soft muted colors is available on any of our raised or flat panel door styles to create the perfect focal point for your home.

After the devastating Tubbs fire, Craig reimagined this Calistoga property into a wine country retreat for the owners' family as well as corporate/wellness guests. He approached the design by studying the natural elements of the site including trees, views and light, the vernacular design of the area and the clients’ personality. Craig designed a barn and the house – made up of a one-story and a two-story building – connected by a stunning 20-foot steel and glass breezeway. Expansive doors and windows create seamless indoor/outdoor flow and numerous patios and the pool area provide comfortable outdoor spaces. The modern and warm interior is bright, luxurious and comfortable.

The beautiful window became the groundwork for the design.
Glazed ivory melamine with raised panel faces enhanced the wood flooring and trim without overpowering the room. High pressure laminate coordinating work surfaces were used for both durability and eye appeal. Large lateral filing drawers and a vertical file along with ample drawers for miscellaneous items created the spaces needed to keep paperwork from cluttering up the desk. With the addition of tack boards above the coordinating counters, notes can be accessed easily. The under counter LED lighting in a glazed light box allows the proper lighting. All upper cabinets are enhanced with an extra-large glazed crown molding.
