This home office was created from an outbuilding on the property. Seagrass wall-to-wall carpet was installed for ultimate durability and a relaxed vibe. We employed a high-low aesthetic to create a space that was unique but still within budget, utilizing the owner's Stickley desk, a custom desk chair, custom blush Roman shades, a Hudson Valley Fenwater chandelier and sconces, and multiple office items from budget sources like IKEA and The Container Store. The clients had the cool modern pool table, so we selected a modern, arched light fixture to coordinate with the curved base of the table. Cork adds the perfect balance of soft yet hard surface. on the floor.

This closet was lined with cedar, which added character to the room. We removed the doors and left the cedar intact. To avoid nail holes the existing clothing rod was used to hang items with large iron "S" hooks. The petite desk provides a work surface for letter writing, using a laptop or tablet, or a craft area. A Thonet style chair tucks neatly into the space. Small portable tables with shelving and wire baskets were used to store supplies and display decorative accessories.

The clients love of dark woods was carried into the living space with a gold and cork vinyl wallcovering creating the backdrop of an 85" television. The built in, faux finished, storage unit below the television contains a drawer with a mesh front to house a subwoofer. The sofa is upholstered in a combination of leather and upsholtery. A wood top slides from side to side on our custom ottoman.
