A Gilmans Kitchens and Baths - Design Build Project (REMMIES Award Winning Kitchen)
The original kitchen lacked counter space and seating for the homeowners and their family and friends. It was important for the homeowners to utilize every inch of usable space for storage, function and entertaining, so many organizational inserts were used in the kitchen design. Bamboo cabinets, cork flooring and neolith countertops were used in the design.
A large wooden staircase obstructed the view of the compact kitchen and made the space feel tight and restricted. The stairs were converted into a glass staircase and larger windows were installed to give the space a more spacious look and feel. It also allowed easier access in and out of the home into the backyard for entertaining.

This forever home, perfect for entertaining and designed with a place for everything, is a contemporary residence that exudes warmth, functional style, and lifestyle personalization for a family of five. Our busy lawyer couple, with three close-knit children, had recently purchased a home that was modern on the outside, but dated on the inside. They loved the feel, but knew it needed a major overhaul. Being incredibly busy and having never taken on a renovation of this scale, they knew they needed help to make this space their own. Upon a previous client referral, they called on Pulp to make their dreams a reality. Then ensued a down to the studs renovation, moving walls and some stairs, resulting in dramatic results. Beth and Carolina layered in warmth and style throughout, striking a hard-to-achieve balance of livable and contemporary. The result is a well-lived in and stylish home designed for every member of the family, where memories are made daily.

Designed by Malia Schultheis and built by Tru Form Tiny. This Tiny Home features Blue stained pine for the ceiling, pine wall boards in white, custom barn door, custom steel work throughout, and modern minimalist window trim.

Description
Pipo refers to the traditional wooden barrel used for the transportation and storage of wine. The mobility of the product is associated with the commercial expansion of wine and it is as if each person carries this cultural history when transporting the Pipo. This piece was produced in agglomerated black cork, referring to the tone of aged barrels. This material also makes it lightweight and non-slip. The rope emphasizes the old look and can be produced in other colors, making it more fun and adaptable to the environment and to the taste of people.
Materials
Cotton colored rope and black cork with 100% natural agglomerate.

Cabinets were painted white and dark grey, new backsplash and countertop, new table top too. Yellow accents give a fresh new look to the space.
Since the hardwood floor was not even, we decided to install 4 mm cork tiles on top of it.
