The Black Knight Group team has already finished architectural plans for this elegant home. The home will sit on a 100’ x 275’ yard that backs to the La Grange Country Club golf course. This high-end house was designed with meticulous symmetry to evoke a feeling of elegance. The home will have 10’ first floor ceilings and 9’ ceilings on the 2nd floor. This very functional family home boasts a three-car garage, four bedrooms with a chef’s kitchen large enough to possess two islands. As a bonus, there is a huge walk-in pantry and private officette off of the kitchen. This Outdoor Kitchen is an addition to an existing home. Concrete foundation with wood framed construction, T&G ceiling, shingle roof. Cabinet structure is Stone with Granite Counter Tops, Gas fired Stainless Steel Appliances (including power burner, grill, and griddle), Sink w/ water heater, ice bin, dishwasher, and wine/beverage center.

The addition of a new covered front porch really expands the front of this 1950's home... a newly redesigned and constructed cover entry changes this home's look and feel. We were able to update the exterior finishes at the same time, replacing the old windows with new dark framed more energy efficient windows. The exterior trim is now all pvc; this lowers maintenance and upkeep. New fiber cement lap and shake siding improve weather durability. Proper overhangs give an added architectural details while improving rainwater control and weather protection. Square tapered columns accent the stained, craftsmen style, douglas fir wood front door. The entire porch has some type of stone - Eldorado stone veneer faces the foundation and porch with natural bluestone on the porch steps and porch floor.

The interior of this custom designed screened porch greets family and guests in high style with two outdoor sofas and matching footstools, which double as end tables. A bold pattern outdoor rug defines the space and adds dramatic glamour over the concrete foundation. Painted Carolina blue in true southern tradition, the bead board ceiling has interesting angles and leads to a screened transom at the far end of the building. Festive paper lanterns from San Francisco add a touch of fun and flair in the left end corner. For protection from the late afternoon sun, the room becomes protected as the outdoor fabric drapes are pulled to cover the screened walls.
