This is an elegant whole house renovation with custom made cabinets throughout the entire house. Our client has a great passion for baking (we were lucky enough to enjoy some of her baked goods). We design the kitchen as a galley floor plan to allow substantially storage space as well as customize the cabinets to fit our baker client's needs such as cookie sheets dividers inserts, large kitchen island and extra counter space to bake her magic. We created an improved lightning plan in the kitchen to allow a better cooking and hosting experience.
The master bathroom and the guest bathroom were renovated with elegant marble alike porcelain tiles and modern gray flooring and vanities. Modern mirrors and sconces were incorporated in both bathrooms and completed the over elegant look and feel.

In the expansive primary bedroom, a clever redesign eliminated the need for a closet addition to the house by adding six feet of closet space directly into the oversized room—while still leaving ample space for a four-poster king-size bed and a sitting alcove at the rear of the room. Motorized blackout draperies in embroidered gray-on-white fabric provide effortless light control, with matching sheer shades for soft daytime filtering. The same embroidery appears on the bed shams, creating a cohesive, custom look. A brushed gold bedside lamp with crystal accents and a contemporary square shade adds a touch of modern elegance. The space is framed with substantial crown and base molding, enhancing the room’s sense of proportion and quiet luxury.

A classic colonial transformation was the task at hand. Taking typical compartmentalized rooms and creating an open concept with expansive windows and updating all the finishes not only brought the outside in but also completely reconfigured the flow and sightlines of the home.
Set in a tranquil and private setting made maximizing natural light and vistas a priority. The walk-out basement now has open unobstructed views of the sparkling in-ground pool and native landscaping. Contemporary finishes, new custom built-in murphy bed and media wall, as well as a renovated full bath, wet bar and home gym tie the renovation together seamlessly.
The first floor overhaul consists of a true open concept kitchen, dining and living spaces. The kitchen was designed without upper cabinets allowing for panoramic outdoor views as well as open and airy work surfaces with tandem islands. A brand new mudroom was designed as the perfect transition between garage and renovated first level. Along with a brand new stair design, wall paneling, renovated powder room, flooring and new light fixtures throughout gave this outdated home a fresh facelift.
The exterior's total modification was enhanced with a distinct new entry flanked by substantial stone columns and double height entry. All new siding, windows and spacious deck completed the total improvements and created a truly remarkable before and after project!

This New England home has the essence of a traditional home, yet offers a modern appeal. The home renovation and addition involved moving the kitchen to the addition, leaving the resulting space to become a formal dining and living area.
The extension over the garage created an expansive open space on the first floor. The large, cleverly designed space seamlessly integrates the kitchen, a family room, and an eating area.
A substantial center island made of soapstone slabs has ample space to accommodate prepping for dinner on one side, and the kids doing their homework on the other. The pull-out drawers at the end contain extra refrigerator and freezer space. Additionally, the glass backsplash tile offers a refreshing luminescence to the area. A custom designed informal dining table fills the space adjacent to the center island.
Paint colors in keeping with the overall color scheme were given to the children. Their resulting artwork sits above the family computers. Chalkboard paint covers the wall opposite the kitchen area creating a drawing wall for the kids. Around the corner from this, a reclaimed door from the grandmother's home hangs in the opening to the pantry. Details such as these provide a sense of family and history to the central hub of the home.

The owners of a traditional 1940s house on a large corner lot wanted a substantial renovation and addition that would open up their foursquare brick home and provide a contemporary but harmonious counterpoint to it. PLANT demolished a previous addition along the west side to create a new entry on the north that combines mudroom functionality with the polished but informal elegance of oak cladding. This entry leads into the spacious new kitchen, which in turn steps down to the new sunroom bordering the back patio.
On both floors, views now extend through the house north to south. Relocated to the second floor of the stucco-clad addition, the new master bedroom contains an ensuite bath and opens onto a south-facing deck. The basement contains a renovated family room and expanded laundry. Throughout, storage is seamlessly integrated. Attention to detail extends to the smallest rooms in the house, like the new powder room, where a mirrored corner ‘flows into’ angles generated by the installation of hexagonal tiles.

A prominent Okauchee Lake property is perched on a hill in unison with the sweeping water views. The 1990s styling called for an extensive design shift to update all three levels of the home and create comfortable connections to the outdoor living areas including an inground pool, terrace and firepit, boathouse, and waterfront. The existing home was awash in golden oak and a substantial central staircase at the foyer blocked the view to the lake. The new design removed interior walls to open the entry and the compartmentalized rooms for today’s lifestyle necessities and comfortable lake living. Adding new doors and windows seamlessly provides connections for a modern experience that bows to the expansive lake views. The exterior was reimagined with a fresh, modern color scheme to brighten the home for an enticing welcome.
