Crafted of steel and embellished with flourishes of wire mesh, screening, cut-outs and bits of found objects, the dresses are at once both elegant and imposing. An extra living space above the 3 car garage, including a kitchen area, enables guests to visit while providing access to some of the creature comforts of home. The crowning touch is the cupolas that allows for a 360 degree view, including spectacular views of the ocean.

The antique egg prints were the perfect shade of blue green to complement our custom-designed this woodland creature print used on the roman shade. Design ideas for a large transitional partial sun courtyard concrete paver formal garden in Philadelphia for spring.

This unique city-home is designed with a center entry, flanked by formal living and dining rooms on either side. An expansive gourmet kitchen / great room spans the rear of the main floor, opening onto a terraced outdoor space comprised of more than 700SF. The home also boasts an open, four-story staircase flooded with natural, southern light, as well as a lower level family room, four bedrooms (including two en-suite) on the second floor, and an additional two bedrooms and study on the third floor. A spacious, 500SF roof deck is accessible from the top of the staircase, providing additional outdoor space for play and entertainment. Due to the location and shape of the site, there is a 2-car, heated garage under the house, providing direct entry from the garage into the lower level mudroom. Two additional off-street parking spots are also provided in the covered driveway leading to the garage. We began this project with a blank wall and a dream for custom built-ins that would add clever storage and comfortable seating to a young girl's room. The goal of the project was to build a flexible space that could grow and change with it's owner over time. The custom built-ins were thoughtfully designed to allow for a combination of clothes storage, desk/work space, open book cases for display pieces and treasured books, and a cushioned bench where hours or reading and dreaming could take place. We chose a temporary wall covering for the back wall of the shelves that celebrates the room owner's current passion for woodland creatures but allows for easy removal when her tastes change in time. The soft velvet cushion invites you to curl up and read and the gold dragonfly drawer pulls add an element of whimsy to the toy storage below the bench.
