Inspiration for a huge rustic beige two-story mixed siding house exterior remodel in Minneapolis with a medium wood front door

We love a kitchen transformation because it really impacts a family's lives! This bright and airy kitchen was dark and dated and in desperate need of an upgrade to accommodate a busy family. What used to be a 70s glass block wall is now the dramatic stone backsplash and a new rich blue island brings color and lots of extra storage to the space. We used beautiful custom counter stools to make the island a gathering or work-from-home spot, while the built-in banquette provides a comfortable setting for breakfast. There's a built-in coffee station with a metal mesh panel near the beverage center. We mixed soft brushed brass and matte black metal finishes for the hardware and plumbing.

Master bathroom design & build in Houston Texas. This master bathroom was custom designed specifically for our client. She wanted a luxurious bathroom with lots of detail, down to the last finish. Our original design had satin brass sink and shower fixtures. The client loved the satin brass plumbing fixtures, but was a bit apprehensive going with the satin brass plumbing fixtures. Feeling it would lock her down for a long commitment. So we worked a design out that allowed us to mix metal finishes. This way our client could have the satin brass look without the commitment of the plumbing fixtures. We started mixing metals by presenting a chandelier made by Curry & Company, the "Zenda Orb Chandelier" that has a mix of silver and gold. From there we added the satin brass, large round bar pulls, by "Lewis Dolin" and the satin brass door knobs from Emtek. We also suspended a gold mirror in the window of the makeup station. We used a waterjet marble from Tilebar, called "Abernethy Marble." The cobalt blue interior doors leading into the Master Bath set the gold fixtures just right.

This kitchen in DIVINE. We actually saved some of the existing cabinetry in this redo. The island and the hood are all new. There was a wall where the end of the island is.

The European Kitchen is appointed with white lacquer and wood veneer custom cabinetry, Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, hand-rubbed brass backsplash, and knife-edge Portoro marble counter tops. Made A Mano custom floor tile, tailor-made sink with African Saint Laurent marble, and Waterworks brass fixtures adorn the Bath. This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. Although very spacious, she was looking for better storage and flow in the kitchen, so a smaller island with greater clearances were desired. Custom designed hanging glass cabinets frame in this view of the kitchen from the dining room. Centered below the cabinets is the larger of the two kitchen islands, both were constructed with reclaimed barn wood in the herringbone pattern and granite countertops. Each island include a custom-made copper farmhouse sink. The cabinets in the rear of the kitchen are also custom-made and were constructed out of oak, while alder was used for the horizontal slats.
