Our client requested a clean, sophisticated style with a modern flare. We took a classic shaker door in a dark wood tone added fluted glass doors, quartz counters that mimic concrete counters and lots of stainless steel accents that touch on the grey tones in the mosaic tile to create the look they wanted.

Our Harlan Shaker cabinet line is great for any transitional, contemporary, or modern space. In this photo you can see that the hardwood maple doors, are attached to the hardwood maple face frames with 6 way adjustable concealed european hinges. You can also see that the inside of the cabinets are finished to match the front, and that the plywood with real maple veneer gives it that truly custom look. These cabinets are from our RTA (Ready To Assemble) collections and you can see one of the cam locks in the lower left of the cabinet. The cam locks are always colored to match the wood, and are positioned in places which will keep them concealed. With soft close full overlay doors and drawers, all real wood construction, and finished inside and out this cabinet is a great part of any modern kitchen. In this kitchen remodel, light and dark are brought harmoniously together with the addition of Alaska White granite countertop. Like most homes built in the 1980’s this combined entry, living room, eating area, and kitchen were completely compartmentalized with walls. They loved the idea of opening up the spaces to accommodate more of a great room feeling. Advance Design accomplished this by opening up the corner of the kitchen to not only make the space flow, but to let light into the dark eating nook and living room. Working on a budget, opening up the space and installing new hardwood flooring was a priority, so a more expansive kitchen had to be economical. Wanting a clean, contemporary feel; tall espresso shaker cabinets replaced old soffits, and River White granite made an impressive and clean lined contrast. This beautiful kitchen is as pretty as it is functional. These are maple cabinets painted white. Flawless inset construction with stacked upper cabinets. Glass in the upper cabinets is so subtle and classic. The island is a dark stain in keeping with the floor and the quartzite tops bring in all together. In this kitchen remodel we used subway tile for the backsplash and added and a built in angled corner under-mount sink. The contemporary handles on the maple cabinets created a sleek seamless look and the fun pendant lights were the perfect accents against the colorful artwork on the walls. Lastly the oven was a six burner slide-in gas range.
