This boys' room reflects a love of the great outdoors with special attention paid to Minnesota's favorite lumberjack, Paul Bunyan. It was designed to easily grow with the child and has many different shelves, cubbies, nooks, and crannies for him to stow away his trinkets and display his treasures.

Like many older homes, this Craftsman lacked a main level bathroom. Powder rooms are the perfect opportunity to introduce a bit of updated color and pattern to a traditional home - they seem to welcome a little whimsy. Here, a modern sink, a round faceted mirror, and a wall-mounted soap dispenser off set a traditional penny round tile pattern. And as an added twist, a contemporary color pallet was chosen, introducing a more transitional, updated look. Using a bold Indoor/Outdoor area rug in the entrance foyer is a perfect example illustrating that you do not have to sacrifice practicality for high-design. The silver table from Z Galleries adds a touch of elegance as well as serving as a practical surface to place keys, bags, etc. Bannister, railings and stair risers painted "almost" black" and cause you to gaze up to the chandelier.
