The homeowners wanted the range area to be its own focal point, so we designed it to look like a hutch with the glass doors, open shelving, brackets, and bead board.
The bead board back is behind the entire unit and the brackets extend down to the wood counter top.

Example of a transitional multicolored floor kitchen design in Atlanta with a farmhouse sink, recessed-panel cabinets, green cabinets, white backsplash, stainless steel appliances and gray countertops

This kitchen had the old laundry room in the corner and there was no pantry. We converted the old laundry into a pantry/laundry combination. The hand carved travertine farm sink is the focal point of this beautiful new kitchen.
Notice the clean backsplash with no electrical outlets. All of the electrical outlets, switches and lights are under the cabinets leaving the uninterrupted backslash. The rope lighting on top of the cabinets adds a nice ambiance or night light.

Eat-in kitchen - country l-shaped medium tone wood floor eat-in kitchen idea in Indianapolis with a farmhouse sink, shaker cabinets, distressed cabinets, quartzite countertops, beige backsplash, ceramic backsplash, stainless steel appliances and a peninsula

We used a beautiful and earthy sage green on the cabinets, warm wood on the floors, island, floatng shelves, and back of glass cabinets for added warmth.

Since the kitchen is so open to the rest of the house we chose to keep it light and bright to tie in with everything else. We went with white inset cabinetry and quartz counters with a 2'' edge profile. There are two sets of drawer dishwashers, 36" DCS range, DCS oven and microwave and Fisher and Paykel fridge. We chose to put cabinet panels on the dishwashers and fridge in order to keep them concealed. The floating shelves are made out of local reclaimed wood.

The kitchen pictured here is in a turn of the century home that still uses the original stove from the 1930’s to heat, cook and bake. The porcelain sink with drain boards are also originals still in use from the 1950’s. The idea here was to keep the original appliances still in use while increasing the storage and work surface space. Although the kitchen is rather large it has many of the issues of an older house in that there are 4 integral entrances into the kitchen, none of which could be rerouted or closed off. It also needed to encompass in-kitchen eating and a space for a dishwasher. The fully integrated dishwasher is raised off the floor and sits on ball and claw feet giving it the look of a freestanding piece of furniture. Elevating a dishwasher is a great way to avoid the constant bending over associated with loading and unloading dishes. The cabinets were designed to resemble an antique breakfront in keeping with the style and age of the house.

Detailed posts around sink and integrated dishwasher to the right.
In this remodel, the owners added onto the back of the house, doubling their kitchen size and allowing for a walk-in pantry with an integrated cabinet door and large built-in hutch. Traditional style cabinets are finished in a soft creme finish with illuminated glass cabinets above. The surrounding walls include integrated dishwasher with matching soft close trash unit . Island is finished in our exclusive cappuccino hand-rubbed finish.
