Donating our time, and construction costs, we transformed a rundown and overgrown garden into a truly magical series of outdoor spaces. Since it was a “design house”, we decided to have some fun with our work, introducing a series of pea gravel “splashes” in the pond garden, enlivening the pool garden with brightly colored cushions and umbrellas, and giving the “dance floor” garden structure and interest by using Emerald Green Arborvitae columns and a mass planting of Rhododendron Roseum Elegance.
The Color Palette Interior Design & RemodelingComplete kitchen remodel. Standard cabinetry was donated to a worthy home to create charm in this ranch home. Maximizing on space with plenty of room to move about a busy family kitchen. Rustic wide plank floors, cream colored cabinets brighten the space with a contrasting walnut island with beautiful granite acting as the centerpiece to add depth and warmth to the space. Surrounding countertops are Cambria Quartz. Glass backsplash makes a statement and blends the green hues used throughout the kitchen, breakfast nook and family room.

Home In TransitionHome In Transition (HIT) worked with the real estate agents to clear this Mississauga home for staging. Once family members had selected the items they wished to keep, the HIT team facilitated an online auction, oversaw the lotting, worked with the team to catalogue, and assisted with pickup. We also arranged for the furniture bank to pick up donations and finally a junk removal service to take away all remaining items.

Cadence’s family monitors her closely every single day for evidence of bleeds. If she wakes up with a bruise, or splotchy marks on her skin, it can mean a trip to the hospital for infusions to bring her platelet levels up. Often, the process of an infusion leads to other infections and complications, which can lead to long hospital stays for Cadence and her family.
As a result, Cadence has limited exposure to external activities and her families daily goal is to keep her safe and protect her from bumps. A tall order for any sweet and bubbly five year old.
