This remodel by Green Goods and designer, Jennifer Rucks features custom Maple Cabinetry, Surf Green Granite, and Strandwoven Bamboo in natural finish. The clients wanted a clean look and to visually expand the space, we used light colored cabinetry and flooring. The Surf Green Granite countertop (also know as Typhoon Green Granite) with its rich green color is the accent of this kitchen remodel. The sink is at the peninsula, thus there isn't the capacity for a backsplash, so our fabrication team's solution was to sculpt a piece of Granite that would stop water from going over the edge of the countertop.

Our major challenge with this remodel was working with the space provided. Usually a U-shaped kitchen of this size can be comfortable and have no issues, but keeping the door on the edge of this kitchen really limited space and viability. Catering to all of the customers needs to make this kitchen useful and beautiful without impacting the walk way was a challenge we were happy to overcome.

Designer: Robin Nadel Design Inc. Transitional Chic Kitchen, mixed with a slight Modern Edge. Before the renovation, the kitchen and living areas were separated by a wall. Post renovation, you can see the space was opened up, and the kitchen and living space are now separated by a peninsula. We also added a custom metal hood trim, which adds a chic twist to the kitchen.
