Wine cubes double as a household organization center. Mullion-style Aristokraft Winstead glass-panel cabinet doors showcase the prettiest of serving dishes.

Every detail was accounted floor when planning this custom hickory kitchen, which embraces an aesthetic that harkens back to the past. From a little cubby to hide the toaster to reclaiming the deep window sills to make them part of the countertops, no storage opportunity went unexplored. This kitchen is open to the dining room on the right, creating one large entertaining space. A former window was also turned into an opening a the back left and a new mudroom addition was created.

Master bathroom with an elegant freestanding bathtub underneath a traditional light fixture and finished with varying white & gray patterned tiling in this updated 1940's Custom Cape Ranch. Chevron floor tiling. The classically detailed arched doorways and original wainscot paneling in the living room, dining room, stair hall and bedrooms were kept and refinished, as were the many original red brick fireplaces found in most rooms. These and other Traditional features were kept to balance the contemporary renovations resulting in a Transitional style throughout the home. Large windows and French doors were added to allow ample natural light to enter the home. The mainly white interior enhances this light and brightens a previously dark home.

Inspiration for a mid-sized coastal single-wall medium tone wood floor and brown floor open concept kitchen remodel in Philadelphia with an undermount sink, shaker cabinets, blue cabinets, marble countertops, white backsplash, marble backsplash, stainless steel appliances, an island and white countertops

Every detail was accounted floor when planning this custom hickory kitchen, which embraces an aesthetic that harkens back to the past with a touch of modern (hexagonal tiles, for example). From a little cubby to hide the toaster to reclaiming the deep window sills to make them part of the countertops, no storage opportunity went unexplored. This kitchen is open to the dining room, creating one large entertaining space. When the walls separating the kitchen and the dining room came down, we saved the picture frame moulding and it was reused on the focal wall of the kitchen to highlight a brand new custom designed stained glass window. This window was inspired by a trip to the Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona. The colors are highlighted by glasses stored in the adjacent glass-front cabinet, which is illuminated with perimeter LED's tucked just inside the glass door.

This home belongs to a personal Friends of my Parents. I was the Architect and helped coordinate with various sub-contractors. I also co-designed the project with various consultants including Interior and Landscape Design
Almost always and in this case I do my best to draw out the creativity of my clients, even when they think that they are not creative. This house is a perfect example of that with the incredible ceilings / trusses / materials / etc... This house is adjacent to my parents Haley #2 House (but on a large property)
